"I have had the pleasure of participating with Special Olympics as a volunteer and as a corporate sponsor for a second consecutive year. Personal fulfillment and strong team bonding have been unavoidable. Each of our staff participants has moved tangibly closer to the kind of service orientation that only comes from selfless dedication to others. There is nowhere that you can tap into this type of dedication and commitment better than Special Olympics. Special Olympics participation is mandatory for any organization hoping to find that "secret ingredient" to achieve distinctive and exceptional service."

Overview
In 1995 Special Olympics was rated by the Chronicle of Philanthropy as "the most credible charity in the United States". As a non-profit organization, Special Olympics Connecticut receives no funding by government agencies, Kennedy Foundation, or United Way, which makes our fundraising efforts crucial to the organizations survival.
Each of the 5,000 athletes who currently participate in our programs, do so at no cost to them, their families or their caregivers. Your partnership will help afford those with continuing opportunities and help us reach out to more athletes. Whatever the sponsorship level, you will enjoy the many opportunities available to enhance your image, increase awareness, introduce new products, strengthen business and shareholder relationships, and boost employee morale. For sponsorship opportunities, please visit the "Available Sponsorships" page.
